The Greenspire School PTO
The purpose of this PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at The Greenspire School, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging guardian and student involvement, and to improve the environment at The Greenspire School through volunteer and financial support.
Who: An intentional community of individuals with ties to The Greenspire School including students, staff, local neighbors, families, guardians and alumni.
What: Working together to care for and enhance the lives of The Greenspire community members through acts of development, kindness and generosity.
Where/When: Official zoom and in-person monthly meetings, unofficial occasional social gatherings, everyday interactions.
Why: Supporting each other makes everyone stronger and modeling caring behaviors impacts the entire community.
How: Direct actions like adult engagement supporting student led activities, donations to the staff and students, general fundraising, social outings and adult education. Indirect actions like positivity, patience and understanding.
